What’s better than pumpkin pie? The answer this version of healthy, handy Pumpkin Pie Power Balls that you can take with you on the go!
This recipe we’ve adapted by Lyndsay, the blogger behind @LyndsayRuns on Instagram, is so simple to make and it’s ready in only a few minutes. It’s as easy as pie, yet much more nutritious –and convenient too. Here’s the recipe:
½ Cup almond butter
1/4 Cup pure maple syrup
1/4 Cup organic pumpkin puree
1 Serving The Natural Citizen Organic Protein
1 Tbsp chia seeds
1 Tbsp ground flax meal
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 Cup oats
Combine ingredients in a large bowl and mix together, add the oats last. Roll into balls and place on parchment paper in the freezer for 15 minutes to harden. Store in the refrigerator. Makes about 10 – 12 balls.
