If you’re stuck in an oatmeal rut, baked oats are a brilliant way to mix things up. These drool worthy Ginger Pear Baked Oats by our friend Rachael from @rachaelsgoodeats taste like “pie crust on the outside and cakey on the inside.” What’s better than a pie-cake combo for breakfast? Very few things, in my humble opinion.
Rachael added our Organic Digest for a little added fiber and digestion support. Because our Organic Digest naturally tastes like slightly sweet oatmeal, it mixes into oat dishes and baked goods seamlessly! It also tastes great simply mixed with almond milk (I’m definitely a fan of Organic Digest)

½ Cup rolled oats
1 -2 Tbsp. chia seeds
1 Scoop The Natural Citizen Organic Digest
1 Scoop vegan protein powder
½ tsp. ginger powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. Essentially Coconut Sweet Almond Coconut Butter, melted
½ tsp. baking powder
½ – ¾ Cup unsweetened almond milk
1 Pear, diced
2 Tbsp. chopped pecans
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and transfer to a baking dish. Sprinkle cinnamon on top and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Enjoy!
