This Coconut Blackberry & Ginger Organic Protein Smoothie by Registered Dietician Rachael DeVaux of @rachaelsgoodeats is not only an easy way to change up your morning routine, but you also get the added benefits of ginger. We love ginger because it is believed to sooth the digestive tract, reduce inflammation and support immunity.
Here’s how to make it:
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen blackberries
1 serving The Natural Citizen Organic Protein
1/2 tsp ground ginger
3/4 cup coconut water
Add all ingredients to blender and blend to desired consistency. You can also toss in a handful of spinach or our Organic Greens Powder to make this smoothie more nutrient-rich.*
