Clean Green Hummus

Are you a hummus fan? It’s so handy, so flavorful, and so easy to blend up whenever you have a craving. I’ll bet you didn’t think you could make hummus any better. Well, surprise! Our friend Danielle of @vegan_healthspiration has taken hummus to a whole new level with this Clean Green Hummus made with our Organic Greens nutrition blend.

Here’s the recipe:

Greens Supplement

1 Cup chickpeas
¼ Cup lemon juice
2 Tbsp. tahini
2 Garlic cloves
1 Serving The Natural Citizen Organic Greens
1 Handful of spinach
1 Handful of parsley
1 Tbsp. hemp seeds
Cumin to taste
Sea salt to taste
Black pepper to taste

Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor or heavy duty blender and blend, add a little water if necessary for blending. Enjoy with fresh veggies, chips or as a delicious sandwich spread.
